Hi! My name is Ebba, and I am here to help you feed your family pure and nutritious foods that will make them happy and healthy!
I have 2 children, Hanna and Halli, now 14 and 11. Like most youngsters, they can be fussy eaters, but I’m pleased to say that most of the time, after tasting what I make them they end up loving it (or at the very least liking it!)
Raising your children on wholesome nutritious foods is the best start you can give them. That way, good habits are embedded early and become the norm. The old saying ‘old habits die hard’ is so true! Also, explaining to your children (when you are in a good mood) why you want their “fuel” to be first class, helps them to understand the value of their own health and well-being, and encourages them to become team players at home. At the same time, it’s important to remember that exceptions do not matter, they are a necessary part of a lovely, relaxed and happy life.
I have seen with my own eyes, and experienced with my own body, how pure foods and healthy fats make life better. Of course, there are no guarantees and life isn’t always straightforward. But eating mostly un-processed food (and not too much of anything) does make it easier to maintain one’s health, both mentally and physically, which in turn increases quality of life and brings out the best in each and every one of us. What’s more, it helps to preserve our beloved earth for our children to inherit.
I truly believe that healthy nutritious food is the best enabler for a positive attitude, and helps us to take on all that life throws at us with love, energy and optimism. That said, nothing will ever be perfect, so as you try to adjust and change your diet and lifestyle for the better, be kind to yourself and remember that this takes time and patience. Thankfully, making healthy food is not difficult and it’s not a chore. It’s easy, it’s fun, and the well known adage ‘less is more’ is as relevant in the kitchen as anywhere else. And what’s more, healthy food really does taste great!
