Quick, easy and healthy spelt naan bread

♥ This lovely spelt naan bread is extremely easy to make. I have made it with my vegetable soups and stews for billion years now! It’s a recipe from my lovely rawsolla.com

 


Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
Yields: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 150g organic whole spelt flour/kamut flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2-3 tbsp cold-pressed olive oil
  • 100ml hot water

Method

  1. Blend the spelt and the sea salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the oil and the water and make a dough with your hands.
  3. Roll the dough and cut it into 10 pieces. Put a little spelt on your table and flatten each piece quite thinly using the inside of your palms or a rolling pin.
  4. Then you simply cook them dry (no oil nor water) in a pan for about 1 minute each side. Watch the heat, I keep it low
  5. You could also bake them in your oven for a few minutes, when you see "bubbles" inside the bread and it looks dry, it's ready!

Additional Info

♥ When ready to serve, I love olive oil or garlic olive oil on my bread and just a little Himalaya salt.

♥ You can easily also put around 2 tbsp ground seeds into this recipe. I grind mine using low speed in my blender.
