Healthy and delicious chocolate mousse

♥ I favor organic pure produce
♥ It is best to use ripe bananas and do not feed honey to children under 12 months of age.
This truly tastes amazzzzzzing and is so very easy to prepare!

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 0 mins
Yields: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado (or 2 small ones!)
  • 1 banana (optional , see below)
  • 3 tbsp organic cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp organic maple syrup or raw honey (here you can use instead 1 small tsp Via-Health vanillastevia & 3 dates)
  • 3 good tbsp organic cacao powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp vanilla powder (optional)
  • Water, organic coconut water or almond milk to thin it out
  • To serve: Fresh seasonal berries or passion fruit

Instructions

  1. If the coconut oil is too stiff you simply put the jar in hot water (no warmer than 40°C/100°F, though) until it becomes runny or very soft. Then you purée all the ingredients. I usually use my glass measuring jug and hand-held blender.
  2. Serve it with fresh seasonal berries or passion fruit. If you have time it is nice to put the pudding into the fridge for a while and serve it cold. I can never wait myself though!

Additional Info

  • ♥ If it is not sweet enough, add a little maple syrup, agave nectar, honey or vanilla-stevia (3 drops ca.)
  • ♥ And if it does not have enough cacao flavour, add some more cacao. This recipe can never go wrong!
  • ♥ For those who don’t like banana flavour, just skip it! You might then have to add some more maple syrup/agave/honey/stevia since the banana adds to the sweet flavour.
