Hazelnut Christmas cookies
This is a recipe from my grandmother Thora, I always make them every Christmas ♥

12-15
Ingredients
150g butter, organic
50g maple syrup, organic
100g palm sugar or raw cane sugar, organic
2 happy eggs (organic)
250g spelt (white, organic)
½ tsp seasalt
2 tsp baking powder (aluminium free)
1 tsp vanilla powder
3 tbsp warm water
100g hazelnuts – chopped (I chop them in my blender)
100g 70% chocolate – chopped
Method
Set your oven to 185°C.
Melt the butter, put in a bowl, add the maple syrup and sugar and then the eggs. Beat together gently.
Add the rest and blend together.
Put around 1 tsp on a baking paper using your oven tray.
Bake for around 10-12 minutes.
Additional Info
Best kept in the freezer – delicious to warm them up again in the oven, they will be like you just baked them.
