Chocolate almond milk

♥ I love chocolate non dairy milk. I make myself some version of this choc milk almost every day! It’s always gorgeous!!:-)

Yields: 1-2

Ingredients

  • 150 ml organic almond milk
  • 100 ml water (or more almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao
  • 1 frozen banana (makes the shake cold but you can use a regular one and some ice to make it cold as well)
  • 2 tbsp coldpressed hempseed oil, flaxseed oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 tbsp tahini (very nutritious.. iron, calcium, protein, essential fat, B-vit, E-vit, magnesium.. you can also use handfull of soaked cashews or almonds - optional)
  • 1 date (optional, makes it sweeter) OR 5-6 drops liquid Via-Health vanilla stevia
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder (optional)

Method

  1. Throw everything into your blender and blend smooth. Enjoy!

Additional Info

  • ♥ In smoothies you can always skip the banana and use 3 dates instead (2 dates if they are very big).
  • ♥ It is easy to add some superfoods into this one. I like 1 tsp lucuma, 1-2 tbsp Chia seeds, 1/2 tsp spirulina or wheatgrass, handfull of Goji berries, 1/2 tsp Vitamin-C for instance. All up to you, how much time you have and what you are in the mood for:)
  • ♥ Sometimes I skip the banana and use Goji berries or Mulberries instead as well as 6-8 drops liquid vanilla stevia. Keeps better in the fridge and also if you have to take it somewhere with to drink later.
