Basic smoothie recipe

We often make a smoothie in the morning .. it is loved by us all.

I wanted to teach you the basics, with the right quantities so you can change it anyway you like depending on what you are in the mood for, what you have, what you love, what is in season etc. and it will always taste awesome!

Here is another basic smoothie recipe using organic almond milk for those who do not tolerate milk products.

Basic smoothie recipe

  • 170g organic pure yoghurt
  • Around 140g berries or fruits you love/like/is in season ..
  • 1-2 tbsp hempseeds (protein and good fat)
  • 1 ripe banana OR 3 dates
  • 5 drops vanilla stevia
  • 50 ml water or almond/rice milk, if needed


  1. Blend everything well in your blender
  2. If your blender is not very powerful and you are using frozen fruits/berries/banana, let everything sit in your blender for around 10 minutes and then blend. Then your blender should be able to without any trouble.

The stevia makes everything taste like a desert * I keep my stevia in the fridge * When you make a smoothie using fruits/banana/berries it is very important to use some good fat as well and protein. The yoghurt is here the option as well as the hemp seeds. You could also add chia seeds. * What you are making here is simply put; Organic strawberry yoghurt with no sugar. *An example of a lovely combination is ripe mango and raspberries OR strawberries OR blueberries
